Leinster Tennis, like most sports associations, is a non-profit making entity which
needs the help of Sponsors to run a considerable amount of its activities.
The great majority of Tournaments, both Junior and Senior, organized and run by Clubs could not be run without the generosity of their sponsors and the help of their volunteers.
We currently have some projects which mostly involve Club and Player Development. We are looking for financial support for them. You can help in 2 different ways:
Becoming a Leinster Tennis Sponsor:
- Main Sponsor: your name and logo will be associated with Leinster Tennis and its website www.leinstertennis.ie
- Standard Sponsor: you will be part of the group of sponsors that support Leinster Tennis various activities. You will be listed on its Sponsors list in its website www.leinstertennis.ie. If you wanted your logo and details could be advertised on the suppliers/services list (according to the advertising options).
Sponsoring a specific event, activity, facility, scholarship or award:
In this case, the event will take your name, i.e. “Sponsor” Primary Schools’ League. A few of the projects are listed below:
- Under 10s Competitions Project: It involves a group of weekend competitions run through the year specifically designed for Under 10s were fun and match practice are the main emphasis. The format doesn’t have elimination draws. It will have a minimum of one event per month. Existing tournaments for under 10 could be incorporated into the circuit as long as they followed the same format.
- Leinster Matchplay Series: They are run twice a year. Over 350 children entered in the last ones. A given number of players, which depends on Leinster’s last season’s performance, qualify to play in the National Mathplays.
- Primary Schools League: The primary Schools League takes place in the last term of the School Year. Last year 46 schools from all over Leinster participated. We hope to have many more next year.
- Provincial Towns League
- Player’s Choice Tournament Award: “Sponsor’s Name” Award
Players will fill form were they will give points 5, 4, 3, 2 or 1 to their top favourite tournaments in 2 groups juniors and seniors. National Tournaments would be excluded and the others could be divided in 2 categories: a) A and B tournaments and b) all others. - Travel grant: to help players from areas with no tennis high performance facilities to attend tournaments and training in high performance centres.
- Leinster Teams Trips: Leinster has a small pool of players which means that top players have to travel abroad to have a chance to play a wider group of opponents in order to develop their competition skills.
- Player’s Clothing/Equipment Sponsorship.
