 SENIOR TOURNAMENTS

 

Senior Tournament Grades are usually related to DLTC League Classes. The same Tournament may run different events to cater for a wide range of players: i.e. Club Championship for stronger players and Class 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 for the other levels.

 

JUNIOR TOURNAMENTS

 

The Grade of the Tournament reflects the size and the quality of the draw (number of top players in it), and the facilities of the Club running it. The Grade of all Tournaments  is announced at the beginning of each tennis year -November/December), and reviewed at the end of it.

 

IRISH CHAMPIONSHIPS:

 

  • National Indoors (David Lloyd Riverview)
  • Irish National Championship (Fitzwilliam Lawn Tennis Club))
 
ALL OTHER OPEN TOURNAMENTS:

 

 The Grade of a Tournament will be based on the minimum requirements specified in the following table:

Note: Under 12 and 14 events should meet all requirements and Under 16 and 18 at least three of them.
